social mediaWith so much focus on the plague of the student loan debt industry, it can get tiring talking about the depressing state of loans. In order to bring some positives for poor college students struggling to make it to class, work, parties and bed, here are some fun tricks every college student should know:

1. Easy breakfast — if don’t have time for a meal in the morning, make scrambled eggs in a coffee mug in the microwave in about a minute.

2. Boost the wifi signal — cut the ends off an aluminum can and again once length-wise down the can. Unroll and place it around the wifi signal to expand its reach.

3. Use gift cards — sign up for free trials using a prepaid gift card to avoid  the monthly payments thereafter or subject to automatic renewal charges.

4. Don’t snooze — instead of setting your alarm clock or phone for a certain time, create a custom alarm by installing the app that forces you to solve a math problem to shut off the alarm. You won’t oversleep and miss class ever again.

5. Freshen up — use dryer sheets on window units or ac vents to freshen up the smell of your dorm or apartment.

6.Find the wifi — you can usually find the wifi signal for public places by checking the comments on foursquare or other social media sites. Just remember its public browsing so don’t make any financial transactions or check accounts with financial information over an unlocked wifi signal to ensure your data is safe.

7. Create your grade early — most people find those first few semester classes to be easier than those later in your degree plan. Focus on getting the best grades early on to start a high GPA, plus you will be creating a great studying habit for those harder classes later on.
